NCS Vehicle Donations accepts most cars, trucks, minivans, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, personal watercraft, RVs, campers, trailers, golf carts, and fleet vehicles like company vans and shuttles, running or not.

Frequently Asked Questions

If your vehicle sells for less than $500, you can claim the selling price or the vehicle’s fair market value up to $500.

If your vehicle sells for more than $500, you can claim the exact amount for which it sold.

To claim your tax deduction, you must itemize your deductions on your tax return and submit documentation in the form of a written acknowledgment letter (we provide this to you at the time of pickup and again once your vehicle is sold) and/or certain tax forms (we can provide these to you upon request, such as Tax Form 1098-C).

We recommend that you consult your tax advisor as well as the IRS for more specific information about charitable contributions.

The pickup and tow fee is free to all donors. Some states may require a donor to pay to transfer the title to NCS Vehicle Donations in some cases.

Most vehicles can be accepted even if they are damaged, need work, or don’t run.

All costs of picking up the vehicle and selling it are handled by NCS Vehicle Donations from the cost of the sale of the vehicle.

NCS Vehicle Donations will work with you to pick up your vehicle at a time and location that is convenient for you.

NCS Vehicle Donations is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has an A+ rating.

NCS Vehicle Donations sells your vehicle the net proceeds after costs associated with the pickup and title transfer are paid are given to WWP to support injured veterans and their families. These funds help provide life-saving programs and services that these warriors need to improve their mental health, and financial wellness and maintain their independence.
