WWP Resource Center: Frequently Asked Questions

No. If you are in crisis or concerned about a loved one, please call the Veterans Crisis Line at 988, then press 1 or text 838255 to connect with a crisis counselor 24/7, 365 days a year.

The WWP Resource Center is available for registered warriors, family members, non-registered veterans, and anyone seeking information on vetted national and local resources for veterans and their families.

For warriors and family members who are registered with WWP, the WWP Resource Center can provide the following:

  • Connections to WWP programs that are based on your unique needs. Teammates will assess your needs and can submit a referral on your behalf. You will need to complete a screening to determine eligibility for participation.
  • Connections to trusted national and local resources that have been thoroughly vetted for accuracy and reliability to help with things like legal services, education, employment, housing, mental health, acquiring a service dog, family care, etc.

Unfortunately, the WWP Resource Center cannot sign you up for events. You can register for events through the MyWWP app and web portal or our weekly email newsletter, The Post.

No, the WWP Resource Center does not provide direct financial assistance. The WWP Resource Center does maintain a database of organizations that may be able to provide financial aid based on eligibility criteria. These organizations do not guarantee assistance; each organization has different eligibility and processes for receiving support.

The WWP Resource Center team is made up of WWP teammates who come from various backgrounds, including veterans from every branch, family members and caregivers of veterans, and civilians who have a passion for serving those who have served our country. They are trained to learn about your specific situation and needs. While WWP has many great programs and services, we cannot directly cover all the needs that our population may encounter. We work with other organizations specializing in these areas to fill these gaps.

No. Please contact the WWP Donor Care team at 855.448.3997.
