Vice President of Warrior Experience
Dana Dreckman serves as Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Vice President of Warrior Experience; a multi-faceted team facilitating the centralized oversight of organization wide programmatic efforts. In this role she is responsible for providing a best-in-class experience to ensure warriors are positively impacted by programs and services through one-time engagements and ongoing support. Dana also oversees WWP’s Mission Data and Insights team, which utilizes data and measurement to build actionable insights that further WWP’s mission to honor and empower wounded warriors.
Since joining WWP in 2009 as a donor services coordinator, Dana has served in various roles. After her time in donor services, she became family support director, overseeing national and local family-related programs, and managing operating processes, infrastructure, family interactions, and staff education. Following her family support role, Dana led WWP’s community fundraising events and donor care teams, with a focus on the highest level of donor service while also raising funds in various communities. Prior to her current role, Dana was the Director of the WWP Talk program, a nonclinical, telephonic, emotional support and goal-setting program that breaks down the barriers of isolation.
Dana holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, double majoring in French and Spanish with a minor in business. She resides in Florida with her husband Corey and their four daughters, Maddie, Giana, Annie, and Caroline. Outside of work, Dana enjoys running, watching sports, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with her family.
